I know this is supposed to be Wordless Wednesday, but I felt a description was in order.

Last night as I was working in the living room, I felt as though I was being watched. Glancing up, I saw the crescent moon framed in the top section of the 20-foot window that forms the back wall of my house. It’s not a great shot – you have to look closely to see the framing of the window – but it happened to match a scene I was writing at the time.

  5. This reminds me of the movie Stardust, because the stars sit up there and just watch our drama and pathos scroll by at a distance… maybe the moon does too.
    I like the fuzzy quality of the moon, because it matches the thoughts about it watching you.

  26. I have been noticing the crescent moon two nights in a row, but can’t get a picture of it that is blurry beyond recognition. Great job.

  28. Lovely! It’s not easy to take moon shots. Did you know that when the moon is just a silver sliver you can make a wish on him?

  30. Without context, I feel like I’m looking up at the night sky, through the clear glass roof of an indoor garden atrium connected to a Victorian home.
