A Busy Friday

I was up til four last night, and didn’t blog, then slept til eleven, though FedEx rudely woke me at 8:22. I was not pleased.
When I finally did get out of bed I had a busy day:
- Reinstalled Skype and Audacity on my desktop computer.
- Reinstalled Office on the same machine
- Logged into Skype [...]

Scary Crazy Busy Saturday

Published by MissMeliss under Lists

So this was my day:
– Went to bed around three AM, for reasons I am still not sure of.
– Had a nightmare – can’t remember what it was. Fuzzy soothed the remnants away with some night-time nookie. This was around five.
– Slept til six. Woke up when pain meds wore off [...]

Only the Good Friday #3

I had a lazy day today, since I crammed through my work week early, in order not to work on Friday. I hate having to work on Friday, and will spend as many hours as it takes to avoid it most weeks, though there are times it’s unavoidable.
In any case, here are three four good [...]

Bullet Points: How I Spent Today

Published by MissMeliss under 2008, General, Lists

Because I’m tired, cranky, and my knee is throbbing:
– Slept til 12:30. Or really almost one. Spent fifteen minutes figuring out which pants fit with knee brace. Went out in public (well, the salon) in really big t-shirt and stretch pants, choosing comfort over style. And sneakers. Yay sneakers.
- Spent four hours [...]

Box of Me

Some men’s memory is like a box where a man should mingle his jewels with his old shoes.
~George Savile
Louisa May Alcott wrote, in Jo March’s voice, of the treasure boxes Jo and her sisters kept in the attic. Part real, and part metaphor, these collected the essence of each of the four “Little Women.”
